How it works and how to install it
The fan is fixed by its 4 holes on the square frame, with screws on the wall, equipment panel, or directly on the 150mm round ductwork. Connection is made via the 2 wires attached directly to 220V — no additional switch needed. The axial motor rotates the ABS plastic blades, creating a constant flow of cold or warm air, depending on positioning. It can be mounted in under 15 minutes and starts operating immediately upon power supply.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
