How it works and how to install it
The axial fan works by direct connection to the 220V electrical network via the two attached wires. The motor generates 1360 revolutions per minute, moving a large volume of air perpendicular to the mounting surface. Installation is done by fixing the casing to the wall or in window openings using the four pre-existing mounting holes. It does not require advanced technical knowledge — just make sure the mounting surface supports the 6 kg weight and that there is access to a 220V outlet.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
