How it works and how to install it
The fan is mounted directly into 400mm circular ductwork or fixed to the wall/ceiling with brackets using the pre-existing holes in the metal flange. Electrical connection is made via a cable with bare wires — requires connection to a 230V mains supply by an authorized electrician. After starting, the axial motor generates a constant airflow of 6700m3/h at 2450 revolutions per minute, ideal for extraction or fresh air intake.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
