How it works and how to install
Choose the tube with the appropriate diameter for your cable, slide it over the connection to be protected, then heat it evenly with a heat gun or torch. At 90 degrees Celsius, the material automatically shrinks by a minimum of 50%, adapting perfectly to the cable's surface. The process takes a few seconds and requires no special tools.
Each tube measures 100cm before shrinkage, allowing you to cut it to the exact dimensions needed for your project. The flexible material is easy to install even in tight spaces or on cables with connectors already attached.
Frequently Asked Questions
What cable diameter can I protect with the 12mm tube?
The uncontracted 12mm tube fits cables and connections with a diameter between 6mm and 11mm, shrinking by at least 50% of its initial diameter.
Can I use a regular torch or do I need a heat gun?
You can use both a professional heat gun and a classic torch or lighter, keeping the flame at the correct distance for even heating to 90 degrees Celsius.
Is it safe for indoor installations or does it emit toxic substances?
Yes, it is completely safe — the material is halogen-free, does not emit toxic substances when heated, and complies with standards for indoor and outdoor electrical installations.
