How it works and how to install it
Plug the adapter into any standard Schuko wall socket, then connect your appliances to the Schuko socket on the device and your mobile devices to the two USB ports. Can I connect a powerful appliance such as a kettle or an iron?
Yes, the Schuko socket supports up to 16A and 250V AC, sufficient for most household appliances. Make sure your appliance does not exceed 3680W maximum power.
Do the USB ports charge the phone quickly?
Each USB port provides a maximum of 2100mA at 5V, equivalent to standard charging, not dedicated fast charging. For most Android phones and iPhones, the speed is similar to standard factory chargers.
Does the switch also turn off the USBs or just the Schuko socket?
The switch disconnects all power, including the USB ports. All connected devices turn off completely.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
