How it works and how to install it
The thermostat operates based on the thermal expansion of the fluid in the metal capillary. The stainless steel probe is inserted into the location where the temperature needs to be monitored, and the metal capillary transmits thermal variations to the switching mechanism. When the temperature reaches the threshold set by turning the knob, the electrical contacts automatically open or close, stopping or starting the connected equipment.
Installation requires fixing the thermostat body in an accessible location for adjustment, inserting the probe into the monitoring area, and connecting the three electrical terminals according to the circuit diagram. The 600mm capillary offers sufficient flexibility for most industrial applications.

Can it be used with a 5kW electric baking oven?
Yes, the thermostat supports up to 16A at 250V, which means approximately 4000W maximum power. For 5kW equipment, it is recommended to use it via a contactor.
How precise is the temperature adjustment?
The mechanical thermostat has a specific hysteresis of approximately 3-5°C, which is normal for this type of industrial device. Adjustment is done by turning the graduated knob with a visible scale.
Is the stainless steel probe resistant to direct contact with water or steam?
Yes, the probe and capillary are made entirely of stainless steel, a material resistant to humidity, corrosion, and sudden thermal variations, making them suitable for wet industrial environments.
