How it works and how to install it
The thermostat contains a bimetallic plate that deforms at a temperature of 95°C, interrupting the electrical circuit. When the temperature drops below the reset threshold, the contact automatically closes and the appliance can function again. Installation is done by securing the metal brackets with screws to the surface to be monitored — the heater casing, water tank, or electric resistance. It is connected in series on the power circuit, so that upon cut-off, the entire appliance is disconnected from the mains.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
