How it works and how to install it
The thermometer uses a bimetallic system in the stem that expands the indicator needle proportionally to the temperature. It is installed by inserting the 120 mm stem through a 4 mm hole in the oven door or wall, then secured with the included adjustable clamp. The tip of the stem should reach the center of the combustion chamber for accurate measurement. It does not require initial calibration; it starts displaying the temperature immediately upon exposure to heat.

Can I use the thermometer for electric or gas ovens too?
Yes, it works in any type of oven — wood-fired, electric, gas, or combination. The important thing is that the temperature does not continuously exceed 300°C.
Do I need to remove the thermometer for cleaning or does it remain permanently installed?
It can remain permanently installed. The metal material is resistant to cleaning and repeated thermal shocks. If necessary, it can be easily removed by loosening the fixing clamp.
How accurately does it measure temperature?
The standard accuracy for analog bimetallic thermometers is ±2-3°C, sufficient for cooking, baking, and roasting. For industrial applications where greater precision is needed, digital thermometers are recommended.
