How it works and how to install it
The thermometer uses a bimetallic sensor mounted in the brass capillary that transmits thermal expansion through the copper wire to the analog dial. Insert the capillary into the measurement area through a pre-existing hole or one drilled to the correct diameter, fix the casing in the desired position with the included screws, and read the temperature directly on the graduated scale. It requires no initial calibration or periodic maintenance, and complete installation takes less than 10 minutes.

Can I use the thermometer to measure water temperature in a boiler?
Yes, as long as the water temperature does not exceed 350°C and the capillary is correctly immersed. Ensure that the 2.5 cm capillary length is sufficient for your measurement point.
Does the copper wire withstand heat if it passes near hot areas?
The wire is thermally insulated and built to withstand high temperatures along its entire 100 cm length. Avoid direct contact of the wire with open flames, but proximity to heated surfaces is not an issue.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
