How it works and how to install
The power supply takes alternating current from the mains (185-240V AC) and converts it into 24V DC, suitable for LED devices. Connection is made via the screw terminal block: the phase, neutral, and ground wires are connected to the input, and the positive and negative wires to the consumers are connected to the output. Installation must be performed by a certified electrician, and the power supply must be mounted exclusively indoors, protected from moisture, excessive dust, and heat sources.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
