How it works and how to install it
The power supply converts the 220V AC alternating current from the mains into 15V DC direct current. It connects to the socket via the L (phase), N (neutral) and M (earth) input terminals, and the equipment is connected to the V+ and V- output terminals. If necessary, the output voltage can be finely adjusted with the ADJ knob. Installation is done through the side holes, with screws, in well-ventilated places, protected from humidity and excessive heat. Cooling is achieved naturally through the perforations in the metal casing.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
