How it works and how to install it
The power supply connects to the 220V electrical grid and constantly delivers 24V at the output. The terminals are clearly marked for quick connection: AC input on one end, 24V DC output on the other. Thanks to its slim design and low weight, mounting is done on a DIN rail or with screws in electrical cabinets, without occupying valuable space. Perforated ventilation ensures passive cooling without a fan, thus silent operation.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many meters of LED strips can it power?
At 400W and 24V, the power supply delivers 16.6A, sufficient for approximately 30-35 meters of standard LED strips of 12-14W/meter, depending on the specific type of strip.
Is it suitable for outdoor installation?
No, the power supply has an IP20 protection rating and is intended exclusively for indoor mounting, in dry areas protected from humidity.
Does it make noise during operation?
No, the power supply has no fan and operates completely silently. Cooling is achieved through the perforated aluminum casing and natural convection.
