How it works and how to install it
The power supply is installed by connecting the 220V AC cables to the L and N terminals, and the grounding cable to M. At the output, connect the positive of the LEDs to V+ and the negative to V-. Voltage adjustment is done using a crucible-type tool, turning the ADJ potentiometer until you get the desired voltage between 12V and 14V, measuring it with a multimeter.
The metal casing must be mounted in a place with sufficient ventilation, avoiding complete covering. No advanced technical knowledge is required — all connections are clearly labeled on the casing.
Frequently asked questions
What length of 12V LED strip can I power with this source?
Up to approximately 2 meters of classic 14.4W/m LED strip or 5 meters of 4.8W/m strip. Calculate the total consumption of the strip and ensure it does not exceed 25W.
Does the power supply make noise or get very hot?
It does not have an active fan; cooling is done naturally through the perforated metal casing. At maximum load, it may feel warm to the touch, but it operates silently.
Can I connect multiple devices simultaneously to the output?
Yes, you can connect multiple 12V DC devices in parallel, as long as the sum of consumed currents does not exceed 2.1A or 25W total power.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
