How it works and how to install
The holder clips directly onto the 35mm DIN rail in the DC distribution panel, without requiring additional screws to secure the casing. The 10x38mm fuse is inserted into the dedicated slot and locked by closing the cover with the red indicator. In the event of an overcurrent, the fuse interrupts the isolated circuit, protecting the rest of the installation — replacement is simple, without tools, after visual identification of the fault through the inspection window.

Are the 10x38mm fuses included in the set or sold separately?
The set contains only the 10 holders. 10x38mm gPV fuses are purchased separately, depending on the nominal current required by your installation (e.g. 10A, 16A or 32A).
Is it compatible with all types of solar panels or only with certain models?
The holder mounts on any standard 35mm DIN rail, being universally compatible with DC distribution panels used in residential and commercial photovoltaic installations.
Can I use these holders for AC applications or only for DC?
The holder is certified and sized specifically for direct current (DC) up to 1000V, according to IEC60269-6. It is not recommended for use in AC circuits, where holders with different certifications are used.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
