How it works and how to install it
The holder is placed in line with the positive power cable of the audio amplifier, as close to the battery as possible. The cable from the battery enters one cap, the fuse connects through the brass contacts, and the cable to the amplifier exits the other cap. When the current exceeds 60A, the fuse filament melts and instantly breaks the circuit. You secure the holder to the car body with 2 screws through a metal plate with pre-drilled holes. Replacing a blown fuse is done by unscrewing the red caps and removing the old fuse.

What amplifier power does a 60A fuse support?
At 12V, a 60A fuse protects audio systems up to approximately 700-800W RMS continuously. For amplifiers over 1000W RMS, an upgrade to an 80-100A fuse is recommended.
Can I use the holder without fixing the metal plate to the car body?
It is not recommended. Without fixation, car vibrations can weaken contacts or break cables. Screw fixation ensures stability and constant electrical contact.
Does the fuse blow often if I turn the volume to maximum?
If the 60A fuse blows frequently, it means your amplifier is drawing over its limit or there is a short circuit. Check the wiring and choose a higher-rated fuse, adapted to the amplifier's actual consumption.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
