8-Way TV Splitter for Cable and Satellite Signal Distribution
The 8-way TV splitter with a frequency range of 5-1000 MHz allows the distribution of TV signals received via cable or satellite to up to 8 televisions or receivers simultaneously. It is a practical solution for residential installations or small offices where there is a single signal source and multiple viewing points. The solid metal casing ensures durability and protection against electromagnetic interference.
What you get with this product
- Signal distribution to up to 8 TVs from a single cable TV or satellite source, without complex additional installation
- Wideband 5-1000 MHz compatible with cable TV, satellite, and terrestrial digital television signals
- Shielded metal casing that reduces signal loss and eliminates external interference
- Standard F-type connectors on all outputs, compatible with common coaxial cables in TV installations
- Fixed mounting possible due to integrated mounting tab, ideal for tidy installations in distribution panels or boxes
- Compact dimensions allow for discreet placement anywhere in the coaxial installation
How it works and how to install
The splitter receives the TV signal through a single input connector (IN) and passively distributes it to the 8 output ports (OUT) clearly labeled on the casing. Installation is simple: connect the coaxial cable from the antenna or cable outlet to the IN input, then connect the cables to each television to the OUT outputs, using standard F connectors. It does not require electrical power and contains no active components, so it does not amplify the signal — if the initial signal is weak, it is recommended to use a TV amplifier before the splitter.
Frequently asked questions
Does this splitter amplify the TV signal?
No, it is a passive splitter — it distributes the existing signal without amplification. If the signal from the source is weak, picture quality may decrease on some connected TVs.
Is it compatible with satellite TV and cable TV?
Yes, the 5-1000 MHz operating band covers both cable TV and standard satellite signals, including terrestrial digital television (DVB-T/T2).
What type of cables and connectors should I use with this splitter?
The splitter uses F-type connectors, compatible with standard coaxial cable (RG6 or RG59) used in current TV installations. F connectors can be found at any electronics store.
