4-way TV splitter for cable or satellite signal distribution
The 4-way TV splitter allows you to distribute the TV signal received via cable or satellite to four televisions simultaneously, from a single source. It operates on a frequency band between 5 and 1000 MHz, covering both terrestrial and cable TV signals. It is a compact and passive solution, suitable for homes or offices where there is a sufficiently strong input signal.
What you get with this product
- Connect up to 4 TVs to the same signal source, without additional separate installation costs
- Wideband 5-1000 MHz — compatible with cable TV, terrestrial digital, and standard band satellite signals
- Robust metal casing with threaded F-connectors — stable connection, no contact loss over time
- Compact dimensions — discreetly mounts behind the TV or in a technical cabinet, without taking up space
- Immediate installation without special tools — connect existing coaxial cables directly to the clearly marked outputs on the casing
- CE certified — complies with European electromagnetic compatibility standards
How it works and how to install it
The passive TV splitter takes the signal from the source through a single input connector (IN) and distributes it to the 4 output connectors (OUT), without amplifying it. Installation consists of connecting the coaxial cable from the wall outlet or receiver to the splitter's input, then connecting the cables to each TV at the 4 outputs — the operation takes a few minutes. Please note: since the signal is physically split, it is recommended that the input signal level be sufficiently strong; if the image quality is poor, a signal amplifier must be used before the splitter.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the splitter amplify the signal or just distribute it?
This splitter is a passive device — it distributes the signal to 4 televisions without amplifying it. If the input signal is weak, the image quality on the TVs may be affected.
Does it also work with DVB-T digital terrestrial antenna, not just cable TV?
Yes, the 5-1000 MHz band covers the frequencies used by digital terrestrial television, cable, and partially standard band satellite, so it is compatible with terrestrial antennas and cable TV outlets.
What type of cables and connectors are needed for connection?
The splitter uses standard threaded F-connectors, used with ordinary coaxial cables (RG6 or RG59) equipped with F-type plugs, available in any electronics store.
