How it works and how to install it
The splitter receives the TV signal through a single input connector (IN) and passively distributes it to three outputs (OUT) without amplification. Installation does not require any specialized tools: connect the coaxial cable from the antenna or decoder to the IN input, then connect one coaxial cable from each OUT output to the desired televisions. Since the signal is divided among the three outputs, it is recommended to use this splitter only when the input signal level is sufficiently strong — otherwise, a TV amplifier would be a more suitable option.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
