2-Way TV Splitter for Cable and Satellite Signal
The 2-output TV splitter with a frequency range of 5-2450 MHz distributes the signal received via cable TV or satellite dish to two televisions simultaneously, without requiring modifications to the existing installation. It is the direct solution when you have a single signal input and two screens to connect in the same room or in adjacent rooms. The compact metal casing ensures durability and good signal shielding.
What you get with this product
- Connect two TVs to a single signal source — cable TV or satellite — without paying for a second subscription or a second antenna outlet
- The wide 5-2450 MHz band covers both terrestrial and cable TV signals, as well as satellite frequencies, including HD and UHD
- Installation in under 5 minutes — connect F-connector cables directly into the splitter, no tools or technical knowledge required
- Galvanized metal casing reduces interference and protects the quality of the distributed signal
- Ultra-compact format with included mounting ears — discretely mounts on the wall or behind TV furniture
- Confirmed CE certification — complies with European electromagnetic compatibility standards
How it works and how to install it
The splitter takes the signal through a single input marked IN and distributes it to two outputs marked OUT, each connected to a television via a coaxial cable with an F-connector. Installation involves screwing the F-connectors of existing cables directly into the splitter's connectors — no electrician or special tools are needed. Please note that this device distributes the signal without amplification, so if the initial signal is weak, the quality on each output will be proportionally reduced; in this case, combining it with a TV amplifier is recommended.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this splitter also work for satellite TV, not just cable?
Yes, the 5-2450 MHz operating band covers the frequencies used by both cable TV signals and standard satellite receivers.
Will the signal degrade if I connect two TVs to this splitter?
Any passive splitter divides the signal power, so each output will receive approximately half of the initial level. If the input signal is strong enough, both televisions will function normally.
What type of cables and connectors do I need to connect it?
The splitter uses F-type (coaxial standard) connectors on all three ports — the same type used in most cable and satellite installations in Romania.
