2-Way TV Splitter for Cable or Satellite Signal
The 2-way TV splitter with a frequency band of 5-1000 MHz distributes the TV signal received via cable or satellite to two televisions simultaneously. It is the compact and direct solution for those who want to connect a second television to the same signal source, without complex installation. The metal casing and F-type connectors ensure a stable connection and protection against interference.
What you get with this product
- Two TVs connected to a single cable or satellite signal source, without additional subscription costs
- Wide band 5-1000 MHz compatible with cable TV, satellite, and terrestrial digital television signals
- Standard F-type connectors — compatible with existing coaxial cables in your home
- Robust metal casing that reduces electromagnetic interference and protects signal quality
- Compact dimensions — mounts discreetly on the wall or hides behind furniture
- Tool-free installation — connect cables directly to the IN and OUT ports
How it works and how to install
The splitter takes the signal from the source via a single coaxial cable connected to the IN input, then passively distributes it to the two OUT outputs. Installation consists of screwing F-connector coaxial cables into the corresponding ports — it does not require electricity, a screwdriver, or advanced technical knowledge. Caution: this splitter does not amplify the signal; therefore, it is recommended only where the input signal level is strong enough to power two televisions.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this splitter amplify the TV signal or just split it?
This splitter passively distributes the signal without amplification, meaning the signal strength is divided between the two outputs. If the input signal is weak, an antenna amplifier is recommended.
Is it compatible with DTT digital terrestrial television and cable signals?
Yes, the 5-1000 MHz working band covers both cable TV signals and standard digital terrestrial and satellite television.
What type of connector does this splitter use?
The splitter uses F-type connectors, the most common connectors for coaxial TV cables — compatible with most existing installations.
