How it works and how to install it
The fuse is installed between the car battery and the amplifier, inside the AGU fuse holder on the power cable. When the current exceeds 50A due to a short circuit or malfunction, the internal wire in the fuse instantly melts and breaks the electrical circuit, protecting expensive equipment. For installation, open the fuse holder, insert the fuse between the contact ends, and close the cover — a 30-second operation.

How many amps does my amplifier support, and what fuse do I need?
Check the amplifier's label or manual — if it consumes less than 50A at maximum power, this fuse is suitable. For amplifiers over 600W RMS, calculate: power in watts divided by 12V gives you the required amperage.
Does it fit any inline fuse holder?
Yes, if your fuse holder has an AGU specification and accepts 10x35mm fuses. Most car amplifier power cables use this standard.
What if the fuse blows frequently?
If it blows repeatedly, your amplifier either consumes more than 50A (you need a higher amperage fuse), or there is a short circuit in the wiring or amplifier that requires inspection.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
