How it works and how to install it
The fuse is installed in series on the electrical circuit, connecting the wires to the two metal terminals. When the current exceeds 70A, the internal mechanism automatically disconnects the circuit and the red button pops up. To restart, eliminate the cause of the overload, then firmly press the red button until it clicks and returns to its normal position. It does not require replacement; it works cyclically for the entire lifespan of the vehicle or system.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it also be used for solar systems with inverters?
Yes, it is compatible with any 12V or 24V DC system, including photovoltaic panels, batteries, and inverters, ensuring that the 70A limit is observed.
How often can I reset the fuse without damaging it?
The mechanism is designed for hundreds of reset cycles, being much more durable than classic fusible fuses. It is important to remedy the cause of the overload before each reset.
Does it withstand rain or engine washing?
Yes, IP67 protection ensures complete sealing against dust and temporary immersion in water, making it ideal for installation in compartments exposed to humidity.
