How it works and how to install it
The fuse is installed in series on the electrical circuit, between the power source and the consumers, using the 2 screw terminals. When the current exceeds 150A, the internal mechanism automatically interrupts the circuit and the red button pops out to the OFF position. To restart, push the button back to the ON position. Installation only requires a screwdriver and connecting the cables to the provided terminals — no special tools or advanced electrical knowledge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use the fuse on a 12V solar installation?
Yes, it works perfectly on 12V-24V DC systems, including photovoltaic panel circuits, batteries, and inverters.
How often can I reset the fuse without damaging it?
The mechanism is designed for hundreds of reset cycles — much more economical than classic fusible fuses.
Will it withstand if I mount it under the hood or outdoors?
Yes, the IP67 protection ensures resistance to dust, water splashes, and humidity, and the operating temperature of -30°C to +82°C covers extreme conditions.
