How it works and how to install it
Each flexible strip adheres to the bumper, fender, or other desired location with the adhesive tape on the back, or is secured with the provided screws. The cables connect directly to the 12V battery or the fuse box — we recommend connecting via a relay for automatic ignition with the ignition. The flexibility of the strip allows it to contour any curved surface, ensuring a stable grip.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
