How it works and how to install
The cutter has a locking slider that fixes the blade in the desired position — pull the slider forward to extend the blade, then lock it for safe cutting. When the edge dulls, use the transparent cap as a guide to snap off the worn section — each 18mm blade has 7-8 marked segments, providing new edges without changing the entire blade. To change the entire blade, unlock the screw on the upper part of the handle.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often do I need to change the blade?
It depends on the material being cut. For cardboard or foil, a blade can last for weeks. You can break off the dull sections when you feel it cuts harder, extending its lifespan by up to 8 times.
Are the spare blades compatible with other 18mm cutters?
Yes, the blades in the set have a standard 18mm size and are compatible with most professional cutters of the same width.
Is it safe for daily use in construction conditions?
Absolutely. The metal construction and mechanical locking system ensure resistance to shocks and keep the blade in a fixed position even during intensive work.
