How it works and how to install
The integrated solar panel (3.5 x 1.6 inches) automatically charges the battery during the day, and the light can be manually activated by pressing the ON/OFF button on the front. A short click turns the light on and changes the color through the 8 available variations; a long press for 3 seconds turns the light off. Installation is done by mounting on any solid vertical surface — wall, fence, concrete blocks — using the included screws, without cables and without special tools.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do the lights work in winter or on cloudy days?
Yes, the solar panel charges the battery even on partly cloudy days, but the autonomy may drop below 10 hours on days with reduced sunlight. Frost protection is certified by the IP54 rating.
Can I set a single color and have it stay that way, or does it change automatically?
The light retains the last selected color and does not change automatically — it stays on the chosen color until the next manual press of the button.
Can they be mounted on a wooden fence or only on a concrete wall?
The lights can be mounted on any solid vertical surface — wood, concrete, brick, or metal — using the screws included in the package.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
