How it works and how to install
The batteries are inserted into your device just like normal batteries, observing the indicated polarity. For first use, fully charge them with a compatible Ni-MH charger, then fully discharge them in the device and recharge them to maximum again — this initial cycle optimizes long-term capacity. For maximum lifespan, try to discharge them almost completely before each recharge.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use these batteries in any device that uses AAA batteries?
Most devices work without problems, but some older appliances may strictly require 1.5V alkaline. Check your device's manual to see if it accepts 1.2V Ni-MH.
How long does it take to fully charge them?
It depends on the charger: with a standard one it takes 8-12 hours, with a fast one 2-4 hours. Follow your charger manufacturer's recommendations.
Do they self-discharge if I don't use them?
Ni-MH batteries have a natural self-discharge rate of approximately 20-30% per month. Keep them charged before use after long periods of storage.
