How it works and how to install it
The CAT6 RJ45 connector is installed by crimping: insert the UTP cable with the wires arranged according to the T568A or T568B standard, visually check the correct positioning through the transparent body, then crimp with a standard RJ45 crimping tool. The process takes less than a minute per cable end and does not require advanced technical knowledge. A standard RJ45 crimping tool (sold separately) is sufficient to achieve a professional quality connection.

Are these connectors for unshielded UTP cable or also for shielded FTP?
These connectors are designed for unshielded CAT6 UTP cable. For shielded FTP cables, a dedicated metallic shielded connector is required.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
