PIR Sensor 12-24V DC for Automatic Lighting with 4 Wires
This compact motion sensor transforms any lighting source into an intelligent system that automatically turns on the light when human presence is detected. Ideal for spaces such as corridors, bathrooms, garages, or storage rooms, the sensor reduces energy consumption by turning on the light only when necessary. Compatible with 12-24V DC systems, it easily integrates into existing LED installations.
What you get with this product
- Major electricity savings by automatic activation only when motion is detected within a 3-5 meter range
- Quick installation with a 4-wire system clearly labeled — no specialized electrician or complex modifications needed
- Smart automatic operation that turns off the light 20-25 seconds after the last detected motion
- Precise 110-degree detection angle, perfect for passageways or interior corners
- Mini compact dimensions of 25x20mm allow discreet mounting in various lighting fixtures
- Universal compatibility with LED sources, bulbs, floodlights, and advertising systems on DC voltage
How it works and how to install
The PIR sensor detects human body temperature via infrared and activates lighting only in dark conditions below 10 Lux. Connection is simple: long wires for 12-24V DC power supply, short wires for output to the lighting source. It should be mounted at a minimum height of 1.5 meters for optimal area coverage. The integrated photosensitive cell ensures that the light does not turn on during the day, even if motion is detected.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it be used with normal LEDs or only specific types?
It works with any 12V or 24V DC LED source with power between 3-18W, including LED strips, bulbs, and small floodlights.
How long does the light stay on after it no longer detects anyone?
The turn-off delay is 20-25 seconds after the last detected motion, sufficient for normal passage.
How do I know which wires are for power and which are for output?
The long wires are for DC power, the short wires are for output to the light source — clearly marked in the connection diagram.
