How it works and how to install it
The sensor detects the ambient light level and automatically switches the electrical circuit at the set threshold. Installation is done by connecting the three colored wires according to the standard scheme: phase, neutral, and output to the light fixture. It is mounted in the desired location using the included metal bracket, ensuring stable positioning and optimal orientation towards the sky. The trigger time is adjustable between 5 seconds and 1 minute to avoid false switching when temporary shadows pass.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
