How it works and how to install
The sensor detects ambient light levels at 360 degrees and automatically switches power when the light drops below the 30-150 Lux threshold (adjustable). You connect the 3 wires — red to 24V positive, black to negative, white to the load — and fix the sensor body with the included metal bracket on a wall or pole. Sensitivity adjustment is done by rotating the knob on the housing. The trigger time is between 5 seconds and 1 minute to avoid accidental switching.

It can switch up to 10A, which is approximately 240W at 24V. For example, you can connect 8-10 LED bulbs of 20-30W each.
Can it be used outdoors without additional protection?
Yes, it has an IP44 protection rating, resistant to splashing water and dust. For areas with direct exposure to torrential rain, we recommend mounting it under an eave or with additional protection.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
