How it works and how to install it
The sensor detects ambient light levels in 360 degrees. When the intensity drops below the set threshold (30-150 Lux adjustable), it activates the lighting fixture's power in 5 seconds to 1 minute. In the morning, when natural light increases, the sensor automatically disconnects the power.
Installation is done by connecting the three wires: red to positive 12V, black to negative, and yellow to the lighting fixture. The sensor is fixed with the included metal bracket on a wall or pole, orienting it towards the sky for correct detection. No special tools or advanced electrical knowledge are required.

Does it also work with solar panels with a 12V battery?
Yes, it is perfectly compatible with solar systems that have a 12V DC output and a storage battery. It connects between the battery and the consumer.
How sensitive is it to light? Can it be adjusted?
The sensitivity is between 30-150 Lux and can be adjusted using the adjustment knob. In urban conditions with street lighting, a medium setting is recommended.
Can it control multiple bulbs simultaneously?
Yes, it can switch up to 10A at 12V, which is approximately 120W total power. You can connect multiple LED bulbs in parallel without problems.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
