12V dusk sensor for outdoor and indoor lighting automation
The AS-20 dusk light sensor automatically activates 12V lighting fixtures at dusk and turns them off in the morning, eliminating the need for manual switching. Ideal for solar lamps, garden lanterns, pathway and entrance lighting, as well as stairwells in apartment buildings or parking lots. Save energy and extend the life of your bulbs by operating them only when necessary.

- Protection against humidity — IP44 rating for safe outdoor use, resistant to rain and moisture
- Universal compatibility — works with any 12V DC bulb, LED strip, or lighting fixture up to 10A
- Extended lifespan — quality components with a self-consumption of only 0.5W, tested for long-term operation
How it works and how to install it
The sensor detects ambient light levels in 360 degrees. When the intensity drops below the set threshold (30-150 Lux adjustable), it activates the lighting fixture's power in 5 seconds to 1 minute. In the morning, when natural light increases, the sensor automatically disconnects the power.
Installation is done by connecting the three wires: red to positive 12V, black to negative, and yellow to the lighting fixture. The sensor is fixed with the included metal bracket on a wall or pole, orienting it towards the sky for correct detection. No special tools or advanced electrical knowledge are required.
Frequently asked questions
Does it also work with solar panels with a 12V battery?
Yes, it is perfectly compatible with solar systems that have a 12V DC output and a storage battery. It connects between the battery and the consumer.
How sensitive is it to light? Can it be adjusted?
The sensitivity is between 30-150 Lux and can be adjusted using the adjustment knob. In urban conditions with street lighting, a medium setting is recommended.
Can it control multiple bulbs simultaneously?
Yes, it can switch up to 10A at 12V, which is approximately 120W total power. You can connect multiple LED bulbs in parallel without problems.
