Nickel-plated electric heating element with screw thread for fast heating
The straight nickel-plated heating element with screw thread is an essential component for water heating systems in boilers and industrial tanks. Made of nickel-plated stainless steel, it offers efficient heat transfer and corrosion resistance. Available in 1500W and 3000W versions, it is easily installed using a standard 32mm screw thread.
What you get with this product
- Fast water heating — 1500W or 3000W power for optimal performance depending on tank volume
- Simple installation with standard 32mm screw thread — replaces without modifications to the system, compatible with most boilers
- High durability — nickel-plated stainless steel element resistant to limescale and corrosion caused by water
- Safe operation — designed for 230V voltage with thermal insulation and overheating protection
- Versatility of use — suitable for electric boilers, storage tanks, and industrial heating systems
- Energy efficiency — direct heat transfer, without losses, for optimized electricity consumption
How it works and how to install it
The electric heating element converts electrical energy into heat through the nickel-plated element, rapidly heating the water in the tank. Installation is done by screwing the 32mm thread into the corresponding opening of the boiler, ensuring that the tank is empty and the electricity is disconnected. After fixing, check the seal and fill the system with water before connecting to the mains. It operates automatically once powered at 230V, controlled by the boiler's thermostat.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the 1500W and 3000W models?
The 1500W model is suitable for 50-80 liter boilers, while the 3000W version is recommended for larger tanks of 100-150 liters, providing faster heating.
Can I install the heating element myself or do I need an electrician?
Mechanical installation via screw thread is simple, but the electrical connection must be carried out by a certified electrician to comply with safety standards and warranty.
How often should the nickel-plated heating element be replaced?
Lifespan depends on water quality and frequency of use. Under normal conditions, with water with moderate limescale content, the heating element operates for 3-5 years. Periodic cleaning of deposits extends its lifespan.
