How it works and how to install it
The heating element is mounted on the boiler flange through the existing opening, replacing the old component. Drain the boiler, disconnect the electrical supply, unfasten the old flange, and secure the new heating element with the included screws. Connect the two terminals to the electrical connections, position the thermostat in the opening in the flange, and reconnect the anode. The entire operation takes approximately 30-45 minutes for a person with basic technical knowledge. The heating element operates at 220V and heats water through direct thermal conduction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it compatible with my electric water heater?
The heating element is universal and fits most electric water heaters with a standard flange. Check the size of your existing flange before ordering.
Can I install it myself or do I need a plumber?
If you have basic knowledge of electricity and observe safety precautions, you can do the replacement yourself. Always disconnect the power from the electrical panel before intervention.
How long does it take for a 2000W heating element to heat water?
The heating time depends on the boiler capacity, but generally, an 80-liter boiler reaches the set temperature in approximately 2-3 hours.
Can I use the heating element without a thermostat?
No, use without a thermostat is dangerous and can lead to overheating, boiler damage, or fire. A thermostat is mandatory for safe operation.
