How it works and how to install it
The relay operates on the electromagnetic principle: the coil, powered by 48V AC, creates a magnetic field that attracts the armature, closing or opening the contacts depending on the configuration. Installation is done by inserting the relay into the included PYF11A socket, then connecting the wires to the screw terminals of the socket. Installation must be carried out by authorized personnel, with the circuit disconnected from the power source. The socket is fixed with screws on the electrical panel or mounting surface.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
