How it works and how to install it
The bridge rectifier converts all four half-cycles of alternating current into pulsating direct current. You connect the AC input to the terminals marked with the tilde sign, and the DC output is obtained at the terminals marked with plus and minus. The metal pins can be inserted directly into the printed circuit board or connected via clamps, and the aluminum heat sink can be attached to an additional heatsink if the application requires intense cooling.

What is the polarity of the terminals?
The AC terminals are marked with a tilde, and the DC terminals with plus and minus symbols. Observe the polarity when connecting for correct operation.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
