220V Thermal Protection with Reset for Motors and Pumps
This thermal fuse with manual reset effectively protects electric motors and water pumps against overload and overheating. With an 8A capacity at 125/250V AC, simple installation by direct connection into the electrical circuit, and manual reset by pressing the red button.

How it works and how to install it
The thermal protection is installed in series with the motor or pump, on the power supply circuit. When the current exceeds 8A or the temperature rises excessively, the bimetallic mechanism inside automatically interrupts the circuit. After cooling, press the red button for manual reset and the equipment returns to normal. Connections are made via screw terminals, without welding or special tools.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
