How it works and how to install it
The thermal protector continuously monitors the electrical current flowing through the motor or pump. When the 12A threshold is exceeded, the thermal mechanism automatically interrupts the circuit, protecting the equipment. After the device has cooled, press the red reset button, and the protector will resume operation.
Installation is done by connecting the two terminals in series with the electric motor — one terminal to the power phase, the other to the motor input. It does not require a specialized electrician, only adherence to polarity and securing the terminals according to instructions.

How do I know the protector has tripped?
The red button protrudes and the equipment stops completely. After cooling, press the button back in to reset.
Can I use the protector at both 220V and 125V?
Yes, the thermal protector is compatible with both nominal voltages — 125V and 250V AC at 12A.
How long should I wait before resetting the protector?
Allow the equipment to cool for 3-5 minutes, then press the reset button. If it trips immediately, check the cause of the overload.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
