How it works and how to install it
The monocrystalline solar panel is mounted in an area with good sun exposure — house facade, fence, or pole — and connected via the included cable to the floodlight; no electrician or cable routing to the electrical panel is needed. During the day, the panel charges the LiFePO4 battery, and at dusk, the floodlight can turn on automatically or by remote control. The 3, 5, or 8-hour timers allow you to program the lighting duration without manual intervention.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
