How it works and how to install it
The pressure switch is mounted on the threaded port of the compressor tank (1/4" BSP) and electrically connected between the 230V AC source and the compressor motor. The internal mechanism detects the air pressure in the tank and automatically closes or opens the electrical circuit, depending on the pressure thresholds adjusted with the setting screws. Installation does not require special tools — a wrench and a screwdriver are sufficient for complete assembly in approximately 20 minutes.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
