The Polka FI Bianco ceiling light is recessed into the ceiling, in place of a conventional spot, using the same standard cut-out. The chrome bulb holder ring is fixed into the ceramic frame, and the GU10 or MR16 bulb is inserted directly into the socket. Installation is recommended by a certified electrician, with the electrical connection made to the existing wires in the ceiling.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
