How it works and how to install it
The board connects directly to a 12V / 100W LED driver via the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals visible on the edges of the PCB. Installation is done by thermal bonding to a compatible aluminum heat sink, using thermal paste for optimal heat transfer. Electrical connections are made by soldering with a soldering iron or with clamps, without specialized tools.

The board requires a driver with a 12V output voltage and sufficient current for 100W — a 12V / 8-9A constant current driver is recommended.
Does this LED board need a heat sink?
Yes, being a 100W board, active cooling or an adequate aluminum heat sink is mandatory to prevent overheating and premature degradation of the chips.
Can it replace the original LED module in an existing 100W floodlight?
Generally, yes, if the original floodlight uses a 75x75mm 12V module — check the size and voltage of the existing module before ordering.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
