How it works and how to install
Insert the 11mm silicone stick through the back of the gun, connect the cable to the 220V outlet, and select the desired power with the side button (60W for sensitive materials, 100W for more demanding applications). After 3-5 minutes of heating, press the trigger to extract the melted silicone and apply it evenly to the bonding surface. During breaks, rest the gun on the integrated metal stand to avoid contact of the hot tip with the countertop. No technical skills are required — anyone can use the gun safely by following the basic instructions.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
