30W Warm White COB LED Chip for Projectors and Floodlights
The 30W COB LED chip with warm white light (3000-3500K) is the suitable replacement component for LED projectors, floodlights, and industrial lighting fixtures that require a compact and efficient light source. With a luminous flux of 2000-2100 lm and a supply voltage of 32-34V, this COB chip offers uniform light distribution on its 43x43mm surface. It is the practical choice for repairs or DIY construction of lighting systems with warm, pleasant light.
What you get with this product
- Warm white light (3000-3500K) — comfortable color temperature, suitable for residential, commercial, or industrial spaces where a warm ambiance is desired
- Luminous flux of 2000-2100 lm — consistent brightness for direct replacement of a faulty chip in a 30W LED projector
- Uniform COB surface of 43x43mm — homogeneous light distribution, without bright spots or unwanted shadows
- Compatible with standard 32-34V drivers — easily integrates into existing LED projector circuits without additional modifications
- Cost-effective replacement component — repair a faulty projector at a fraction of the cost of a new product
- Compact format and simple mounting — fixed dimensions and mounting holes facilitate positioning and soldering to the heat sink
How it works and how to install it
The COB (Chip on Board) chip concentrates multiple LED diodes on a single ceramic surface, resulting in a dense and uniform light source. Installation involves desoldering the old chip, cleaning the heat sink, applying thermal paste, fixing the new chip, and reconnecting the wires to the existing 32-34V driver. The operation requires basic electronics knowledge and a soldering iron — it is not recommended for people without experience in electronics repair.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this chip compatible with any 30W LED projector?
The chip is compatible with projectors that use a 32-34V driver and have mounting space for a 43x43mm COB. Check the driver voltage before ordering.
Do I need thermal paste for installation?
Yes, thermal paste is essential for efficient heat transfer to the heat sink. Without it, the chip can overheat and be prematurely damaged.
What does 3000-3500K mean and what kind of light does it produce?
It represents the warm white color temperature, similar to classic incandescent light — a warm, yellowish light, comfortable for the eyes, suitable for both indoor and outdoor ambient lighting.
