How it works and how to install
The 30W COB LED chip is powered by an LED driver with an output voltage of 32-34V and a current of 600-660mA — the driver is not included and must be sourced separately. Installation is done by thermal bonding to an appropriate 30W heatsink, followed by connecting the wires to the + and - terminals clearly marked on the chip's surface. No additional configuration is required; the chip emits light immediately after correct power supply.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction.
