50W Warm White COB LED Chip for Floodlights and Spotlights
The 50W warm white COB LED chip is the ideal replacement component for LED floodlights, industrial spotlights, or powerful DIY lighting applications. With a color temperature of 3000-3500K and a luminous flux of 2000-2100 lm, this COB chip provides uniform, warm light without cold spots or uneven glare. The aluminum metal substrate ensures efficient heat dissipation, extending the component's lifespan.
What you get with this product
- Warm and uniform light at 3000-3500K — suitable for residential, commercial, or industrial spaces where visual comfort matters
- Direct replacement for burnt-out chips — the standard 43x43mm size fits most 50W LED floodlight housings
- Lifespan of up to 50,000 hours — reduces replacement frequency and long-term maintenance costs
- Metal substrate with contact points for thermal transfer — the chip remains cool during operation, without luminous flux degradation over time
- Luminous flux of 2000-2100 lm at 50W — good energy efficiency for medium-to-high power directional lighting applications
- Connection terminals marked with polarity (+ / -) visible on the chip — reduces the risk of incorrect connection during installation
How it works and how to install
The 50W COB LED chip is powered by 32-34V DC, through a compatible 50W LED driver with an output current of 1000-1100mA — the driver is not included and must be purchased separately. Installation involves mechanically securing the chip to the existing heatsink with thermal paste (recommended, not included), followed by electrical connection to the terminals marked on the chip. The operation is accessible to anyone with basic knowledge of electronics or electricity.
Frequently Asked Questions
What driver do I need for this 50W LED chip?
You need a 50W LED driver with an output voltage of 32-34V and a current of 1000-1100mA. Make sure the driver is constant current, not constant voltage.
Is it compatible with standard commercial 50W LED floodlights?
In most cases, yes — the 43x43mm size is standard for 50W LED floodlights. Check the size of the original chip before ordering to ensure compatibility.
Do I need thermal paste for mounting?
Yes, thermal paste is mandatory between the chip and the heatsink. Without it, the junction temperature rises rapidly, and the chip can be prematurely damaged.
