12V T8 LED Tube for efficient lighting in mobile spaces
The T8 12V/18W LED neon tube is the ideal solution for lighting caravans, vehicles, boats or spaces powered by battery or solar panel. With a length of 58 cm and a low consumption of 18W, it provides uniform and constant light where a 220V grid is not available. Designed for 12V DC operation, it integrates directly into the electrical installations of vehicles or off-grid systems.
What you get with this product
- Up to 80% lower energy consumption compared to a conventional fluorescent tube of the same length, which means longer battery autonomy
- Lifespan of up to 30,000 hours, approximately 5 times longer than a classic neon tube — frequent replacements are eliminated
- Direct 12V DC operation — compatible with the electrical systems of cars, caravans, boats and solar systems without an additional converter
- Resistance to extreme temperatures, between -20°C and +50°C, suitable for both winter and summer in unheated spaces
- Compact 58 cm format, easy to install in narrow spaces or low ceilings, including in cabinets or under shelves
- Diffuse linear light, flicker-free, comfortable for prolonged use in camping, mobile workshop or warehouse
How it works and how to install it
The T8 12V LED tube connects directly to a 12V DC power source via the two visible power wires at the end of the body. It does not require a ballast, starter or choke — the driver circuit is integrated into the tube. Installation is done with the included mounting brackets or with standard T8 tube clips, in a few minutes, without advanced electrical knowledge.
Frequently Asked Questions
