How it works and how to install it
The jack is inserted through the front of the panel into a 12mm hole, then the hexagonal nut is tightened from the back to rigidly secure the connector to the surface. Once installed, it accepts any standard 2.1mm DC male plug, ensuring direct and stable electrical contact with each coupling.

This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
