Waterproof SMD 5730 COB LED Module for Advertising and Decorations
The SMD 5730 COB LED Group Module in warm white is the practical solution for illuminating light boxes, advertising panels, and indoor or outdoor decorations. With an IP65 protection rating, it resists humidity and splashing, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. Its low consumption of 2W per module and a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours make it an efficient choice for continuous use.
What you get with this product
- Uniform and warm illumination — COB SMD 5730 technology distributes light evenly across the entire surface of the module, without visible bright spots
- Guaranteed humidity resistance — IP65 protection allows use in splashing conditions, in gazebos, outdoor display cases, or decorations for gazebos and aquariums
- Minimum consumption, maximum brightness — 2W per module with a flux of 20-30 lumens per LED, ideal for installations with dozens of modules connected in series
- Quick chain connection — modules are linked one after another via the integrated cable, without requiring special tools or advanced electrical knowledge
- Long operating life — up to 50,000 hours of use, meaning years of operation without frequent replacement
- High versatility — suitable for advertising panels, jewelry display cases, footwear, illuminated furniture, aquariums, or architectural decorations
How it works and how to install it
The SMD 5730 COB LED module operates at DC 12V direct current and connects directly to a 12V adapter or power supply. Installation is done by securing the plastic casing with screws or double-sided adhesive tape to the desired surface, and the modules are connected in a chain via pre-attached cables. No special electrical knowledge is required — if you have a 12V power supply, the module is ready to operate in minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions
What voltage does this LED module operate at, and do I need a separate driver?
The module operates at DC 12V direct current. You need a 12V power supply (driver/adapter), which is purchased separately depending on the number of modules you connect.
How many modules can I connect in series to a single power supply?
The number of modules depends on the power of the power supply. Each module consumes 2W, so a 20W power supply can power up to 10 modules. It is recommended not to load the power supply to more than 80% of its nominal capacity.
Can this module be used outdoors or in humid places?
Yes, the module has an IP65 protection rating, which means it is protected against water jets and dust, making it suitable for outdoor use or in areas with high humidity.
