The set of 20 5050 RGB LED modules offers a flexible colored lighting solution for indoor and outdoor spaces, operating at a safe voltage of 12V. Each module contains 3 SMD 5050 LEDs with a wide 160-degree angle, capable of rendering the entire RGB color palette. With IP67 protection achieved by plastic injection, the modules are resistant to water and dust, making them suitable for both shop windows and billboards, as well as architectural decorations.

How it works and how to install
The modules are powered by 12V DC via an RGB controller (not included in the package), which allows for color selection and lighting effects. Each module connects to the next via the included 4-wire cable, forming a string of up to 20 units. Fixing is done either by peeling off the film from the 3M adhesive tape on the back of the module and sticking it directly onto a clean surface, or by screwing it into the existing mounting hole on the module — both options do not require specialized tools.

Do I need a separate controller to change colors?
Yes, RGB modules require an external RGB controller connected to a 12V source. The controller is not included in the package and must be purchased separately depending on the number of modules and desired effects.
Can I use these modules outdoors in the rain?
Yes, IP67 protection means that the modules are sealed against temporary immersion in water, so they can withstand rain, fog, or low-pressure water jet washing without problems.
How many modules can I connect in series to the same power supply?
The set contains 20 modules with a total power of 30W. For more modules connected in a chain, the power supply must be adequately sized — a power supply with a minimum 20% power reserve compared to the calculated total consumption is recommended.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
